Storm windows for the Quad Cities
Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline and Rock Island are about 175 miles east of our shop, straight down I-80. We build every storm window to your measurements and send it by truck.
Details that matter on a river-town house
Built to shed water
A sill expander seals the bottom of the opening, and precut weep holes let water drain back outside instead of sitting on your window sill.
Glass and screens come out for service
Inserts tilt out and lift free, so you can replace a glass or rescreen without taking the frame off the house.
A finish you never repaint
Good aluminum storm windows last 30 to 40 years, sometimes longer, and the enamel finish means no repainting or refinishing like wood.
Ordering from the Quad Cities
- Measure. Measure the width at the top, center and bottom and the height on both sides, then use the shortest of each. Our worksheet works out the order size for you.
- Quote. Send us the sizes and your address in the Quad Cities. The quote includes the truck freight.
- Built to order. We build your storm windows in Des Moines.
- Delivered or picked up. Your order ships by truck freight on a pallet, and the freight is quoted with your order. Storm windows always go by truck, never by parcel. Pickup at our shop, 109 SE 4th Street, Des Moines, is always free. We'll call when your order is ready.
